The Prettiest Smile Around

This pupper knows how to turn on the charm.

“My dog smiles whenever he wants something. He started showing his teeth when he got excited to see us after long periods of time (i.e. vacations) and we would say “What a pretty smile!” He made the connection to the word and now will do it on command and pretty much whenever he wants our food. Kind of like a “hey look I’m smiling, I’m pretty!” Some people probably think it’s bad that he does it because he’s technically showing his teeth, but you can tell it’s not aggressive or in a bad way. I think it’s hilarious.”

It’s All For One And One for…Themselves?

Animals are just like humans, and the ways they bicker with their siblings– are very similar.

“My biggest female cat (nine to 10 pounds) likes to sit on the side of the full bathtub inside the shower curtain,”

“My littlest tiny female cat (four pounds) runs from across the house, slides around the corner into the bathroom, shoves the big female into the tub through the shower curtain and takes off like a shot back to the other side of the house. She never knew what hit her.”

Here is a story about one goofy furball, who takes a swim for the first time.

“I had a dog that liked to lick the built-up ice in the freezer every time we opened the door,”

“Got his tongue stuck regularly. Always went back for more.”

“The first time we took him to a lake, he got so excited that he just ran in without knowing what it was. ‘Oh, water!’ Okay, not phased. Keeps running toward the middle. We thought he’d start to swim. Or at least float. Still, I don’t understand how he didn’t. But he ran along the bottom of that lake and just disappeared under the water. … My dad had to go in and carry him out.”

If you’re considering hiring a maid, this feline may be the perfect fit for you!

“I have a giant Maine-coon Siamese mix tomcat. His thing is to bring up laundry from the basement during the night. The weird thing is that he’s pretty good at taking clothes into the right rooms. I don’t know if he does it by smell or what – but it’s pretty normal for me to wake up to a pile of my socks, my daughters some of theirs, etc. He also chirps and meows the entire time he’s making his deliveries – which is pretty funny in and of itself.”

Some Kitties Never Learn

Now that’s what we call falling…with style.

“I had a farm cat when I was a teenager that loved to climb up and sit on the roof. Problem was, he had the habit of rolling over for a tummy rub whenever he saw a person. So it was a distressingly common occurrence to walk near the house and have him roll right off the roof. You’d think after the first three times he’d have learned, but no. He lived a long life despite himself.”
